"Okay." He picks up his knife, examining the wear on the handle. Hm, he really should get the hilt cleaned up one of these days.
"Don't take that tone with me!"
"Okay."
"I don't think you're hot, Kogane. Stop it." Lance is standing now, straightening his back to appear taller than Keith (he still isn't, damn the height-enhancing properties of space whales) and pointing an accusatory finger at him.
"Okay."
"On god, across all the corners of the earth I've flown to, you're the- the ugliest thing I've ever seen."
Keith blinks, slowly lowering Lance's hand from where it was jabbing in his face. "The earth is round."

Summary
Keith was really good at keeping his emotions under wraps.
He hardly ever showed a thing on his face. Once, Lance had made a (hilarious, he might add) joke, and while the entire room was cackling, Keith barely reacted, just giving a small smirk of amusement. Even when he’d failed his midterm, he barely looked upset– he’d just sighed, closed his laptop, and asked Lance if he was ready for dinner. Lance never knew what he was truly thinking, with his steely gaze and blank stares and relaxed posture.
Yes, Lance never knew what he was truly thinking, until Keith got some alcohol in his system.

Summary
“Stiles if you want to cancel just say so.” Derek should've known Stiles would back out. It made sense; Derek was a leather wearing emotionally constipated sourwolf who had a dead family and an psychotic killer ex-girlfriend and had only stopped being a complete dick to Stiles and actually including him in things a couple of months ago. He didn't even know why Stiles had agreed to this date in the first place.
“But I don't! I really, really don't.” Derek's eyebrows shot up from their previously broody position at Stiles' somewhat desperate tone. “I just... there's been some, uh, complications.”
"Complications?"
"Yeah, Y'see...a tree fell on me."

Summary

*Previously titled "Derek's Person." Now changed to be clear that this is a (Hale) pack-centric series—and while Sterek does take center focus in a lot of it, it is not solely a Sterek-centric series. The previous title reflected the first 6 short fics, as those were Sterek-centric, but the bulk of the series is about pack and what that means to each of the characters. Since the Hale pack symbol/tattoo is important, I thought this new title captured the focus of the series much better.*
