Summary
As the death anniversary of Ser Arlen approaches, Dunk makes the decision to take a week’s leave from Prince Aerion’s side.
While that happens, Aerion has to deal with attending the Equinox Festival alone…with his family. There cannot be a worse punishment than that.
Yet, this time apart leaves the Targaryen prince with time to think about certain things in his life, namely Ser Duncan. Perhaps, he will finally come to a decision as to how he feels about Dunk so that when his knight returns, Aerion can finally tell him the truth.
