Every time Jayce felt certain the condom was successfully compromised, he added one more microscopic hole just to be sure. Maybe it was overkill but he wanted to be absolutely sure that there was ample enough space for his seed to leak through.
Jayce set the pin aside in a private, ornate holding box and slipped it back into his desk, all the way in the back so that his lab partner would never have cause to find it. He ran his thumb over the surface of the condom and couldn’t contain the dark smile that crossed his lips. It was perfect. Unless someone put the condom under the magnifying glass, no one would ever believe that it had been tampered with. Jayce felt a surge of heat in his groin at the thought.
Jayce hates the thought of any barrier between them and takes matters into his own hands.

Summary
Viktor leaned in, further than he should have. The vertical sash of the fume hood—made of a heavy, tempered glass window—was hoisted high above him. He was deep inside the fume hood, aiming for the wingnut in the back, when he felt a sharp tug on his shirt. He looked to the side to see his shirt caught on the sash’s locking mechanism. Eyes widening, he muttered, “Oh shit.”
In a split second, the fast click of a metal pin preceded the smooth fall of the sash down onto his waist, trapping him. Viktor wriggled around but there was no use. The fume hood was designed to be operated from the outside and it wouldn’t have been a very good fume hood if it could be raised from movement inside the apparatus. The sash pinned Viktor down firmly at the waist.

Summary
Jayce thought the hardest part of university would be the academics, maybe making new friends in such a big school, or if the dining hall would have anything that tastes remotely close to his mothers cooking.
He was wrong. The biggest challenge, by far, is his new roommate. It’s not that he dislikes his roommate. He hasn’t given him any reason to. He isn’t loud or messy or confrontational. He’s just distracting.

Summary
After Viktor's break-up with Dmitri, Jayce finds himself slowly helping his best friend rebuild and heal after three years of watching Viktor love another man. Then an invitation arrives in the mail.
To Dmitri's wedding.
Six months their break-up.
To Viktor, the only logical response was to enlist Jayce's help to get back at his ex by bringing Jayce as Viktor's plus one.
Jayce, meanwhile, is absolutely using this opportunity to get Viktor to see he could do better than Dmitri.

'Anywhere,' Jayce’s brain immediately thought. “Of course.” Jayce kicked himself. As if that was much better. “Where are we going?”
“To my ex’s wedding.” Those eyes of molten gold gleamed and Jayce found himself falling in love with his best friend all over again: “As my date.”
