Summary
Typhoid, this horrible fever, the unforgivable devil, brutally barged into Victor and the creature’s world. At the beginning, it was just some coughing with a mild headache, and the rise in body temperature even brought some creepy arousal. It was almost like a primitive signal from the unconsciousness: the fear of being erased had led to an urge to reproduce, the last thing a living thing craved when smelling the nearing death. Even Victor, the arrogant man who thought he had already defeated libido, cannot escape from this miserable fate.
And the creature, the creature can feel it. Victor was not going to die tonight, he was not going to die tomorrow, but death was in the air.Victor was a mortal; mortals feared death; his creature was an immortal, and immortals feared loneliness.
