Summary
The current year is 1871, Edgar Allan Poe has been living on his own for quite some time. The seasons continued to pass alongside the dates of his novels have come out. Karl, his pet raccoon, makes an escape from the house one day and Poe stumbles upon a renowned detective who returns Karl to him, the two bond almost instantly.
On a cold October morning, there turned out to be a murder case, as discovered by that detective. Edgar didn't know who the victim was personally, all he knew was that there was a rampant serial killer on the loose. Meaning that his lonley living situation would work out quite well for him.
That is, until he remembered that he had someone 'living' with him temporarily.
