Cut all communication, don't go to places you frequented with him, and over all, stay strong with your decision; yet all it takes is a drunken push, an awfully familiar desperate stare and the ghost of past mistakes still hunting him for Yuuji to feel his resolve carefully built over the past years crumbling away like it was never cemented on concrete but mere sand, a feeble castle being washed away by the waves of longing, anger and desire he feels at the mere sight of Sukuna.

The god stares at him while he rests his face on one hand. Sukuna’s irritated expression shifts into a malicious smirk. Yuuji is as still as stone. Eventually, Sukuna grows tired of keeping his hands to himself, so instead, he wraps a hand around Yuuji’s throat and gives it a tight squeeze.
“Have you finally remembered, Yuuji?”
Sukuna. Sukuna. Sukuna.
The name thunders in his brain like a religious mantra. The shape of the name is so familiar, he feels it pulled out from his own throat.
