Summary
They say that time heals all. True, even the most jaded and weary sometimes recover. Yet, the scars remain where the ruthless enemy planted them. Skin turns to stone, face sets into an opposite of a smile. The future is a dull grey corridor, long or short – no one knows. You pass many locked doors, but you’re too proud to ask admittance. Here and there, some shady alleyways open, but you didn’t suffer all that to now stray into darkness wrapped in dusty cobwebs. You’d give everything for a wide-open window.
