    / If this was what death felt like, Drift wanted no part in it.

    His body seemed as if it couldn’t decide to stay awake. His head burned. What the hell had he done this time?

    A grumble across from him made Drift snap up, leading to a jolt of pain in his chest. He forced his eyes open and found himself face-to-face with a frown. He barely registered anything about the bot besides the red cross markings on his upper arms. Shit. /

    The sad, angsty, but kind of sweet story of Drift and Ratchet beginning with the first time they meet and continuing through with their lives on the Lost Light. Drift has to deal with his past as an ex-drug addict and Decepticon, while Ratchet has to work on realizing how much he truly cares about the whole crew.

    aka the dratchet storyline across more than meets the eye with a few fav characters sprinkled in as well (shoutout rodimus).

His frame was way too fancy to be a common mech, maybe he was on Council? But he kept tabs on all the Councilors and didn’t recognize him. Maybe a Tower mech, or a- Wait. His optics widened with shock and he took a startled step back as realization hit him like blaster fire.

    “Oh, so now we’re respecting my title as a scientist?” Starscream hissed under his breath, remembering the many, many, many times his brilliant inventions have gotten shot down over the years. “If you would ever pay attention, you’d know that I’m an inventor. An engineer! I have no expertise in anything remotely related to alien or Cybertronian biology!”

    Starscream was lying.

    While his trine is on vacation, Starscream is forced to investigate a new Autobot bioweapon. It does not go as planned.
