Gone.
Everything’s fine. He feels fine. He feels good, even. Eddie has a hand on the back of his neck and one clutching his forearm. Eddie looks frantic, eyes wide, a sheen of sweat on his face and stray damp curls stuck there. Steve’s gaze is drawn to his mouth, taut and worried and always in motion. He wants to lick into it.

Eddie looks over his shoulder at him, sticking his hands in his pockets. His sleeves are cut low like the douchey gym bros wear sometimes, but douchey gym bro is about as far from this guy’s vibe as anything could possibly be. He’s skinny under the extremely cursed shirt, like a marathon runner, or like the elves in the stories Dustin tells him about over breakfast some mornings. Steve’s not sure if he’s being judged again, but he does realize with dawning horror that he’s just been staring at Eddie’s waist for longer than he could explain away as anything but interest.
“How do you spell comfrey?” he says.
Or—A fill of Ayes’ prompt on twitter: Steve’s son finds a weird animal in the woods so he calls the wildlife rescue. They send the only guy willing to come take a look at whatever cryptid Dustin found: a wild-haired guy named Eddie Munson.

And there he was. Just as in your face and over the top as ever.
Only he looked… different. He looked like fucking Bon Jovi. Jeans so ripped they may as well just be shorts and a crop top and hair pulled back into a bun with loose bits falling around his face. In some weird way, the jeans almost seemed more revealing than shorts. They weren’t, of course, Steve couldn’t see the backs of Eddie’s legs or his left knee or either calf, but there was so much open ripping around his thighs that almost seemed more… teasing.
“Holy shit, I can see your whole face.” Steve mumbled out, lips parted in genuine surprise, instantly reaching out to try to touch the bun at the crown of his head.
Eddie batted him away.

Steve agrees to help Eddie paint his trailer, but isn't prepared for the bisexual crisis it sends him spiralling into.

This wasn’t exactly “laying low,” but in Vash’s defense… he was bored.
“You do this a lot?” Vash asked, examining his face now that he could fully see him, no matter how shitty the fluorescents overhead were. His face looked older up close, there were bags under his eyes and a hint of a wrinkle forming between his brows that must have formed after years of furrowing his brows. His nose was strong and crooked, and there was a cut there that hadn’t fully healed yet. There was stubble along his chiseled jaw that Vash couldn’t resist but run his fingers along.
“Nah, I’m usually the one that needs patched up,” he said matter-of-factly, cleaning the wound itself now with one hand on the back of his head to hold him still. “Unless you’re talking about bringing people home, then yeah. Hold still now,” he murmured the last part, taking extra care as he applied the small butterfly bandages to his temple. “There. Good as new.” Wolfwood surveyed his handiwork with a smile, and set his hands on Vash’s thighs.
