Derek had paused for a moment, thinking how they were going to defeat the king, then a question was asked by Derek, he had mentally agreed to let Avery assist him in this time of crisis and fear. It's a life or death situation where the well-being of the entire world depends on just some two Minecraft players. "Avery, what's in your inventory?"
The question had entered in Avery's mind, checking his inventory to see some moss blocks, honey blocks, netherrack, and other useless blocks. As he closed his inventory, he had little to no time to react from the act of Derek attempting to push him off the platform. But since he already closed his inventory, he had time to dodge his fist and move out of the way.

Summary
What if there was an alternative universe where the King In Yellow didn't exist as a God but as a human? An universe where Derek and Avery get to meet under normal circumstances. Where nothing can get between them and ruin their chance to become a happy couple.
An universe where neither of them has to suffer because of an evil eldritch being. An universe where the now human eldritch being in question is helping them to be together rather than dooming them. Where will all this lead to? I guess only time will tell.
