Human AU.
Crowley is a landscape artist. Aziraphale has a management position at Morningstar Resorts.
Their first kiss was all they ever wanted until it was not.
It had started out promising, but fate, miscommunication and people being fundamentally people intervened.Stuck with each other in a new project, Crowley and Aziraphale are forced to overcome their past and work together to save a natural habitat from being crushed under Gabriel's feet.
Halted by their differences, logistics, plastic plants and a creaking elevator, they struggle to reach their goal.
But then... Crowley puts it all on the line during one fated night._____________________________________________________________________
In short:
Gabriel likes money more than the environment and Crowley is not here for it.
Aziraphale and Crowley are so bad at communication it hurts.
Also they are both petty.

Summary
After his relationship with Gabriel comes to an end, Aziraphale finds himself in a club one night. Nursing a mostly healed broken heart and a sliver of courage, he decides to move on. It should be easy. Three months had passed. But Gabriel is there, with another man.
Two can play that game. On the dance floor, Azirphale stumbles upon Crowley, who he takes home that night. What's supposed to be a single night of passion becomes complicated as Crowley finds himself immediately drawn to Aziraphale. And Aziraphale, always the dreamer, can't help but become attached. But, he's not ready to have his heart broken again. He needs to be more careful. They can be just friends... with benefits? How long can that last?
