It was *that* day again. The one where-in the past, a royal official from a time yet to come would fall out of the sky for a few hours. It hadn't happened for 562 years now-ever since Derkila disappeared, but it didn't stop Sullivan from keeping hope. Every year, the day two months before the Harvest Festival was always named a holiday in Babyls to keep it clear for any one who might crash through.... who knows, maybe his own Del-Chan would tumble through someday?.... Call it a pipe dream but, hey-security devils could dream too, no? Today again, a banquet had been organized for the teachers and the few students who had chosen to show up to the 'Welcoming Ceremony'. It should have been uneventful like it had been for the past five and a half centuries, but then the sound of multiple thumps and crashes echoed through the Grand Hall.

Summary
Suzuki Iruma is a human. He believes he is a human and has spent 14 years of his life as a human. Or has he? What if he wasn't a human at all, but rather a demon descended from an ancient race of demons that originated in the Netherworld.
"The Ones Who Came Before" are an ancient race of demons who existed before the Demon King. With their high intelligence and high ability to kill with both their bodies and magic, they and their descendants are feared by the present day Netherworld. But these demons did have leadership.
This leadership came in the form of Demon Lords. These were the strongest of all demons among their kind. But most of them have either died or vanished, leading this ancient race to separate themselves from the rest of the Netherworld.
What if Iruma was descended from these demons?

You’re not in any trouble, so take a deep breath,” His voice was uncharacteristically gentle as he slowly guided Iruma back to the couch. Once Iruma was sat, Kalego crouched down and gently held his hands, “Iruma,” He said quietly, “Who grounded you?”
The teenager blinked in surprise at Kalego’s words. Grounded? He looked around at all the other teachers, expecting them all to be staring at him like he was a buffet waiting to be eaten. Instead, they all stared back at him with pity and horror written all over his face. He slowly turned his attention back to Kalego, who was patiently waiting for an answer.
“Excuse me,” Iruma whispered, his heart still hammering in his chest, “W-what…What is grounding?” He asked.

What if Iruma is removed from Sullivan's custody and put in the care of his grumpy homeroom teacher and the teacher who supposedly experiments on students? How will Iruma continue to hide the fact that he's human while also making his teachers understand he wasn't tortured?
