For centuries, if they've been in the same area, Crowley and Aziraphale have celebrated the Christmas holiday together. It isn't the same every year - they've done Hanukkah, they've done Yule - but the tradition of a small private celebration, behind closed doors and with extraordinary amounts of alcohol, is fairly constant.
This first Christmas after the canceled Armageddon sees them both trying to uphold this tradition, while reflecting the way everything has changed. This holiday seems the same, but it's very different.
(Including the REAL story of the Baby Jesus, the reluctant sale of two (2) books, a number of olives which do not survive, a good amount of brandy, and a couple confessions that are long overdue.)

Summary
When Aziraphale Fell and Anthony J. Crowley met during orientation at uni in 2008, they were instantly taken with each other. However, Aziraphale thought that Crowley was straight, and Crowley thought that Aziraphale was out of his league. They danced around each other for their entire university tenure, pining secretly, hopelessly in love, while their mutual best friend, Fergus, looked on.
Now, fifteen years later, Fergus is getting married, and has asked both of them to be groomsmen. Fergus has also decided that it's high time for these two to get over themselves and admit how they feel. He's resolved to play matchmaker, and have them together by his wedding.

Summary
After the argument in St. James Park, Crowley tries to sleep for the next twenty years, but he is plagued by dreams of Aziraphale. Finally, he gets up and attempts to clear his head. But when he sees Aziraphale going into a posh building wearing a green carnation, along with several other men also wearing the flower, he assumes that the angel is out to win souls at a brothel. That should be entertaining to watch, he thinks. So he gets himself a green carnation and follows Aziraphale (and the other men) inside.
He quickly finds out that it is not a brothel - but that there is a tremendous amount of sex going on. That is shocking, but not as shocking as when the sex starts happening to him.
