Bucky blinks herself awake through blood-encrusted eyelashes to watch the woman with wings descend upon her, and can only think, she's an angel. She’s an angel coming to take me home.
It can't be true, though, because there is no universe in which Bucky Barnes would be going to heaven.
Then the woman barrels through the air like a grenade, crashing unceremoniously to the ground with a thump, and Bucky thinks, yeah, no, not an angel.
(Or: Sam's got this thing that attracts her to dangerous things, and Bucky is a very dangerous thing.)

There's a conspiracy afoot, one that threatens to remove Namor from power. Shuri might still have her issues with the mutant king, but she can't just stand aside. And then there's Namor himself, sure there might be trouble in his kingdom, but his biggest problem of all is having the Black Panther once again in his palace. It's dangerous to love a woman who wants you dead.

From a little farther away, Itadori’s faint voice called out, still dangling high in the courtyard tree. “Hey! Can someone get me down now?! This isn’t funny anymore!”
“Operation Parent Trap, phase one: success,” Nanako said, ignoring Itadori completely. She offered Megumi a fist bump.
He rolled his eyes but knocked his fist against hers anyway. “We’re not done yet. Now we just have to wait.”
As they crept off into the night, the sound of Itadori’s indignant shouting followed them.
