Summary
"Last night, the painting... it came to life! He spoke to me and... it was his voice. It was his voice, Jonathan."
It's 1999, and Will Byers is a successful artist in NYC, making ends meet despite the difficulties his lifestyle presents. Only problem? He's out of inspiration and running low on funds, having sold the last of his paintings at a charity auction he didn’t even want to be a part of. So his therapist suggests he paint the thing he can’t seem to let go of, and with that homework he decides to paint a portrait of the One That Got Away.
It's fine, and somewhat cathartic... until the painting starts speaking with the voice of his deceased childhood love. His best friend, painted in the colors that hold all the words and thoughts he could never say.

Summary
It was the summer I was eleven that I met the most beautiful boy. We were alone on the beach, and I asked if he wanted to be friends.
Mike Wheeler often recalls the two best summers of his life when he daydreams. He could never forget the glimmer of those yellow sunsets around up the boy who made them so special. Certainly it was impossible to forget when that boy's face was plastered front and center of Mike's favorite supernatural drama show, Hollow Point. What happens when they cross paths again, one year after the show's (critically panned) ending? Can Mike hide his secret fanboy status, or will he continue to embarrass himself in front of the coolest guy he's ever met?
No, he's not gay. He's just... obsessed. And low-key trying to get information on the rumored next season.

Summary
Mike thinks about how sad and wounded Will looked sitting at the table, and something in him shatters into a myriad of jagged pieces like stained glass collapsing under pressure. His eyes open, locking on Will’s peaceful face, and a decision forms in his chest: he will never let anyone hurt Will like that again.
or
Mike Wheeler would laugh if you called him a psycho. He'd say he's just loyal to a fault, homing himself on one single target: anyone who threatens Will. He's not crazy, he's just pointed in a very specific, very bloody direction.

Summary
“And are you sure?”
“Sure about what, Will?” Mike snapped.
“That she’s your soulmate? Because if you’re not 100% sure, you aren’t just killing her, you’re killing yourself, Mike!” Will shouted back, wiping a stray tear before it could fall.
Mike finally turned to look at him, “I know who my soulmate is, Will”.
Will looked up at him, “So do I, Mike, and it’s not Jane”
OR
Will travels to Maine to join his friends and family for Mike & Jane’s wedding.
But, when Mike finds out he has to marry his soulmate by nightfall on the day of his wedding, or die, Will can’t stand by and watch the two most important people in his life be taken from him.
