Summary
A column of smoke rises from Marlowe’s lips. “They say you will not be debauched.” His voice goes bright and soft with speculation. “I think you imitate the sun.”
...a shiver passes up Will’s spine. Perhaps at the way he said "will" as if it were a name. As if inviting him to mount aloft.
The question now appears to be whether Marlowe is trying to work his way into Will’s purse or into his bed.
He forces the thought from his mind like tobacco vapors from his lungs—as clouding and confusion-caused.Series

Summary
There are things you stop wanting after the end of the world. Wanting is vulnerability, and Max can’t afford to be vulnerable out in the Wasteland. But when he returns to the Citadel, he has a lot to revisit. Even if admitting what he wants might break him.

Summary
What are you doing?”
“Nothing.” He dropped his hand. “Not sleeping, not writing, not making love to you—”
“You’re thinking. Of what?”
“What rich men lack, poor men have, what’s higher than heaven or more bottomless than hell. In a word, Tommy, nothing.”
Thomas sighed, not needing words to express how if that was the case, he dreaded the idea of Kit thinking something. Against either of their intentions, surely, it pulled a smile across Kit’s mouth.
“Leave these frivolous demands, which strike a terror to my fainting soul,” he murmured.
A deeper sigh, humor mixed with ruefulness. Thomas read the play last night—first audience, as befit a patron—and he knew better than any what it meant for Kit to quote something he’d already written down. Yet, undaunted by a failed exorcism, Thomas stroked a hand through Kit’s hair. “Then I will lie here and think of nothing with you.”Series

Summary
Men destined for heaven didn’t write very good plays, anyway.
The moment came when either of them could have broken the kiss—and should have, if it were going to be something that could be easily forgotten—and neither of them did.

Summary
Diana had felt that way often enough, that simple yet incomparably whole bliss. Her lovers must have seen that expression on her face. And did Steve see in her what she had seen in them, the women she so admired and desired, who had repaid her devotion with so many lessons?
In which Diana is a switch who really gets the hang of topping her first time with Steve, with help from some memories Clio's twelve treatises--not to mention a certain Themysciran weaver's knot-tying skills. And the lasso of Hestia, because honesty can only help at a time like this.

Shakespearian ladies in love. Created in 2016 for my Femslash February works, it's meant to focus on characters from the tragedies and history plays, but it's possible a comedy or two might slip through. Summary
Start from the Donmar Warehouse staging of Coriolanus and its amazing, fascinating interpretations of the characters. Especially the women. Especially Virgilia. Add a few heaping cupfuls of BDSM, extreme angst, hurt/comfort, and related kink. Results: one happy marriage, so long as it lasts, one dramatic aftermath, and through it all, one hell of a woman.

Summary
“The only solution is a united front,” Yennefer says. When this just prompts blank expressions, she sighs. “Honestly, do I have to spell it out? I mean the two of you should get married.”
Geralt stares at her. Jaskier’s mouth drops open. Tissaia says, thoughtfully, “that could actually work.”
“No it couldn’t!” Jaskier says, loud and shrill.
After Calanthe and Eist are killed, the fate of Cintra hangs in the balance. The only solution is an alliance between two men: the witcher Geralt of Rivia, bound to the princess by the Law of Surprise, and Cirilla’s uncle Julian, better known as Jaskier the bard.

Summary
“Why do you wear that collar?” the witcher asks.
Jaskier startles. He’s been fiddling with it, he realises, a nervous habit. He didn’t think the witcher had noticed, even though those golden eyes seem to spot most things.
“It’s so people know what I am,” he says.
“And what are you?” the witcher says. His tone has turned surprisingly gentle. Perhaps he can hear the misery in Jaskier’s voice.
“Bound in service,” Jaskier explains. He tries on a smile. “It might not look like it, but I’m as much of a prisoner as you are.”
Jaskier didn’t exactly plan to escape from his master alongside a terrifying witcher. But it might turn out to be one of his better decisions.

Summary
“Seriously, brother,” Teodora says, “you’re wanted for treason, what in Melitele’s name did you do?”
“Nothing,” Jaskier tells her. “It’s just that my soulmate’s the warlord of the north.”
She stares at him, open-mouthed. And then she begins to giggle. “Only you, Julek,” she says when she finally has some control back. “You did always like to be dramatic.”

Summary
Waking up chained in the dark is a problem. Waking up chained in the dark bearing multiple stab wounds that should’ve killed him is an even bigger one, threatening a secret that Nykim has protected viciously for the last decade.
His captor, who remains infuriatingly anonymous, is determined to drag evidence of that secret out of him. The woman that asshole uses to help is as unsuited for torture as she is for staying unattached to handsome prisoners, despite her utter terror of him.
But despite having a reputation as the city’s most notorious packmaster–and an office full of the bones of his enemies to back it up–Nykim isn’t the heartless bastard the city knows him as. Escape should be his number one priority, but something about that woman calls to him.
Something that will end up costing them both.
This is now a duology. The first book is essentially complete and ends on chapter 21, with the second book continuing from there. If I'd known there were gonna be two, I'd've split them, but, well.
