He nodded quickly, mirroring Charley as she leaned in, her hands pushing up the sleeves of his coat, her thumbs venturing beneath the cuffs of his shirt, and then they were touching. Forehead against forehead. His eyes were so sharp yet so far away, as if he were looking straight through her, trained on something in the distance. His face was beet red and fever hot. She felt him swallow thickly.
"How would it feel?" she whispered, his knees between her thighs. "To explore with someone new?"
