Viktor’s voice breaks Yuuri out of his trance and he focuses on Viktor, waiting for the words to come out. But Viktor doesn’t say anything more, eyes flickering between Yuuri’s eyes and mouth, and then his finger stops moving and he pulls it back.
He looks like he has more he wants to say, but doesn’t.

“How small are we today, darlin’?”
He uses a playful, faux-southern accent that sounds a bit funny layered with his usual russian one, and it makes Shane smile for a moment before he realizes what he asked.
He frowned, furrowing his eyebrows, “I’m not small.”
Ilya blinked at him, once then twice, before raising his eyebrows. He takes a moment to try to find the right words to say, the right way to react. He speaks in a gentle voice, the one he uses when he’s trying to correct Shane on something without upsetting him, “Baby.”
Or,
Shane Hollander wakes up in babyspace for the first time, and he doesn't even notice he's small until his caregiver points it out to him.
This is a terrifying feeling, but it's hard to stay scared or upset when Ilya was there to take care of him.
