He makes eye contact with Craig briefly and rubs at it nervously. Darts his eyes away as his cheeks flush the prettiest shade of pink.

“Hmm, you’re so comfortable, Riku.”
Kairi snorts.
“Geez, should I take the bed and leave you two here?”
Riku, cheeks red, trying to keep his composure, peeks an eye open, side eyeing her. Then, he snakes an arm beneath her neck, drawing her close.
Then, softly, without thinking, he says, “I missed having you here.”
With arms wrapped around them, he pulled them closer, pressing a kiss to Sora’s forehead, then to Kairi’s.
“You’re all grown up,” he whispered, rubbing their arms.
It’s Kairi who breaks their silence, chuckling, sounding a little wet.
“You’re not as old as you make yourself be, asshole.” She closed her eyes, sighing in contentment against his chest. “You say as if you’re more than a year older than us.”
“Well, I do feel like I’m much older than I am. I already have the white hair from all your problems.”
Both his friends laughed.Riku struggles to forgive himself, even after the world did.
