Chan suddenly dropped his smile and with a serious tone, that he didn’t use very often, said, “Minho, I would like to speak to you about something very private. I have a… favour to ask.”
Minho’s eyes widened in curiosity. What kind of request could it be if Chan didn’t feel like he should just ask straight away? Why did he feel the need to emphasise that they were talking privately? Surely it won’t be anything bad.
“But before I do I want to ask you one thing – what do you think about the imperial consort?” This question took Minho by surprise. Was he really to give his opinion about Chan’s husband? There were million possible reasons in Minho’s head as to why the emperor should be asking him this, but none seemed very plausible. What does Chan want to hear?

Summary
The contraceptive potion was a tedious and time-consuming ritual. Each step demanded focus. Even with the potion book open for Minho, Jisung patiently explained each step, the similarly complex locator for Hyunjin simmered on hold. “It’s sort of like baking a cake,” mused Minho. “You just have to follow the steps perfectly and it will work out.”
“Like a cake you can’t fuck up or someone will get pregnant.” Jisung laughed.
“Should we be making one for you, too?” asked Minho, wandering over to collect some ashes from the fireplace.
Jisung let out a startled laugh, almost knocking over his candle onto the sigil he was working with. “I’m not overly worried about getting pregnant, since it’s not possible.”
“Well… I’m certainly going to try.”

In a quiet town, Jisung, a skilled alchemist with a penchant for solitude, finds his routine disrupted when he takes in a child whose father has been struck unconscious by a stray spell.
Jisung must do everything in his power to help the family, utilizing all of his knowledge and magic.
Once Minho is awake and healing, he fits into Jisung's life seamlessly, and Jisung begins to worry - how could he possibly go back to how things once were?

Summary
Jisung hardly thinks so. He thinks that Minho’s kitchen is homey and simple and it’s clear that he’s comfortable in it. He fears that Minho won’t feel the same comfortability and familiarity in his own kitchen. He barely uses it as is, so the space isn’t accustomed to someone feeling in their element in it, so he worries that it will translate to Minho as well, and affect his motivation and attitude with his videos.
Minho’s smile shifts, like it’s his turn to be shy, then scratches the back of his neck in what looks to be subtle embarrassment. “I have a YouTube channel, actually."
I know, and I love your channel. Maybe a little too much. Jisung bites his tongue from saying that out loud. They’ve barely known each other for an hour and he doesn’t want to freak Minho out by saying that he’s a (very dedicated) fan.
