Her eyes darted towards the laborious sound. Sifting through the fog, the willows and reeds, until she spotted a familiarly red figure standing amongst a group of battered trees. Keeping line of sight, she walked forward. Cautious and quiet. Her fist closed gently around her handful of petals, no longer paying attention to those that were strewn across the ground.
What she saw was quite strange, indeed.
