Summary
So Kenny sits down in art class and pulls out the textbook from his plastic bag that he uses for all his classes. Ms. Foster comes into the classroom and starts the worst lesson since Mr. Mackey’s Sex Ed, and Butters stares at him in horror from across the room and Kenny rests his eyes because God forbid he passes up the chance for a nap in art class, and everything is normal.
Reel that back. Pause.
Butters stares at him in horror. That is not normal.
When Butters remembers his death, Kenny makes it his mission to figure out what it is about him that made this possible—and accidentally falls in love instead.

Summary
It’s been over a week since Murdoc disappeared without a word. While this wasn’t anything more than an annoyance for Noodle and Russel, this sudden disappearance was more than what it appeared to be for 2-D.
After an unpleasant night at an awards ceremony, the band starts to make their way home. However, while Noodle and 2-D are left alone as they wait for Russel, a severely drunken and emotional 2-D confesses something to Noodle that changes her perception of the past and Murdoc and 2-D’s relationship forever.

SPOLIERS FOR SINNERS 2025:
This fic takes place in an AU where everything didn't go to hell that night at the opening of the juke joint, nor did things go wrong the following morning, but that doesn't mean Remmick still wasn't out on the hunt for Sammy and his beautiful music. He was going to get him to join him one way or another...it might just take some convincing.
(Technically a songfic vaugely inspired by the themes of Hell's Comin' With Me by Poor Mans Poison. Give it a listen if you like folk/americana stuff like I do. You likely do too if you liked this movie so I highly reccomend it!)
