"He had tears running down his wrinkled cheeks that exposed the thickly caked concealer on his face, and his eyebrows were angled in such a way that made him look so, so desperately sad. And his eyes looked like they belonged to somebody else entirely. His eyes looked up at him with such innocent sadness, sadness that Butcher didn’t even know the Homelander of all people could have inside of him — guiltless misery was shining through his pretty blue eyes, and he slumped himself against the glass wall, trembling and whimpering between sobs.

John Gillman wakes up in a different world and finds himself shooting lasers out of his eyes and being the most famous man in the entire United States of America, if not the entire world. And it gets worse: his husband only has months to live and his dying wish is to strip John of his every breath, one agonizing gasp at a time (not in a sexy kind of way).
And when their respective William Butchers say that he wants to fuck them, it has taken on an entirely different meaning.
