She does nothing.
Sidestory to if somebody loved you, they'd tell you by now

Bookmarker's Notes
It is Yule Tide eve in Gondolin and Maeglin sits alone and awaits the end of the night, noticed only by a passing maid. She considers, and moves on.
A touching and tentative side story to auroracode's "If somebody loved you, they'd tell you by know." As sweet and beautiful as it is painful.

Summary
The door opens. Alec tenses, and his body throbs.
A man steps through, and Alec curls his fingers into his palms, terror pulsing through him. Because the man isn't a man. He's a warlock. A demon. The same person he felt crouching over him when he fell. Why is he here? What has the warlock done to him?
"Well well, little angel. You're awake."
***
Alec has been told the same stories all his life. He's been taught the same lines, over and over again. Downworlders are reckless, impulsive, demonic. They're not to be trusted.
And Magnus Bane is the epitome of everything evil about Downworlders.
At least, that's what people keep telling him. Alec's not quite so sure anymore.
Or: In which the Nephilim have wings, are taught to loathe Downworlders, and Alec is presented with a conundrum when Magnus Bane saves his life.

Bookmarker's Notes
When Alec is shot out of the sky during battle, he expects to fall to death - not on the doorstep of one Magnus Bane, extra-avagant warlock and the Clave's most wanted criminal. But, contrary to Alec's prejudice and racist views that the Clave induced in him, said warlock saves his life. While struggling with the injustices of the Conclave and the world-threatening machinations of Valentine Morgenstern, their reluctant acquaintance slowly morphs into a tentative friendship, then develops into mutual care...

“He is half my soul, as the poets say.”
A story as short and intense as one gaze meeting another; a coincidental glance; a chance encounter; lasting only a moment but leaving a mark that stays forever -
very beautiful, somehow made me feel almost tender. -

“Idris Electronics, this is Alec with tech support. What can I do to assist you?”
Bookmarked by Neverthelands

Bookmarker's Notes
When Magnus calls tech support and gets Alec on the line, it seems like a simple coincidence that brightens Alec's day. When Magnus calls a second time, Alec had already been waiting (hoping) for it to happen (for him). When Magnus appears in persona at Alec's workplace, it feels as if there could be something there. As if they could be something.
One of those stories that makes you smile the entire time while reading it. A quiet happy-maker for days good and bad.

Throughout centuries, the tower of Barad-dûr stands strong against the flow of time - until it falls. Still, its story does not end there.
