Kai’s little sister has been taken. Kai’s little sister has been taken. And now this old guy he doesn’t even know is telling him the only way to get her back is to complete this weird ninja training course before he drinks his tea. So they can go beat up the skeletons and save the world from the lord of the underworld. Like that makes any sense. Like any of this makes any fucking sense.
But Kai will do it. For Nya. He won’t eat, won’t sleep, won’t stop worrying himself sick and working himself to the bone until she’s happy and healthy and safe. After all, he’s been doing just that for as long as he can remember. Why should some raised stakes change anything?-
Wu watches as Kai tries to complete the training course and nearly kills himself in the process.
