It startles Henry—it startles Alex as well, Jesus—as he stumbles with his steps and turns around, eyebrows raised in surprise at the sudden break in peaceful silence in their apartment.

Alex’s shaky hands make the name look like Hanri, with a heart instead of a dot for the i. He drops a bag of Earl Grey in the cup, filling it halfway with coffee before he realizes his mistake.
The second cup, the name Hanriey scribbled on the side, makes its way to the counter.
Or, 10 times Alex "misspells" Henry's name and 2 times Henry does it.

“What, now?”
“Come on! We both need a distraction and a break, so let’s!” Alex nudges Henry’s elbow while grinning. “I’ll go first.”
Henry huffs. “By all means.”
“I love walking David with you in the morning. June’s dulce de leche is my favorite. I’m in love with you.”
It takes all the effort for Alex not to visibly react at how Henry audibly gasps and his eyes widen.
“The… the last one is a lie,” Henry whispers shakily, as if trying to convince himself. Alex smiles a bit more shyly.
“Try again, sweetheart.”
“Alex… you’re—”
“So fucking in love with you, it’s hard to breathe sometimes and I may have also already imagined what our wedding would look like?” Alex gulps. “Yeah, baby.”
Alex doesn’t expect what happens next—Henry cries.
— Henry and Alex have been playing Two Truths and a Lie since they were kids, and one day Alex uses the game to confess his love for Henry.
