Vergil considered simply refusing the question. It would have been easier. But the boy continued staring at him with patient expectation, clearly waiting for an answer. Giving the child nothing would only prolong the conversation in ways that might invite more suspicion.
His mind settled on the simplest solution available.
"V," he said.
