Summary
The redhead attempts a lighthearted smile and tilts his head. “Hey kid, you okay? What’re you doing out here in this weather?”
Jun looks away, keeping his mouth shut as the boy studies him closely.
“Do you want some food? We got some at home, and you look like you haven’t eaten in a while,” the red-haired boy continues, unaffected by the lack of response. When he’s greeted with silence again, he sits himself on the pavement beside Jun, ignoring the wetness of the ground.
He angles the umbrella above the both of them and Jun resists the urge to move closer to the taller boy for the warmth.
Or: The fic where Jun runs away from home, gets picked up by the residential freeloader, and finds himself a new family in the Shiina household.
