"You're so beautiful like this," he murmured against Zuko’s chest. "Spread out for me. Letting me do whatever I want."
His mouth found the older man’s sternum, then the dip between his pecs. Each kiss led to a bite, small, precise marks that bloomed pink against Zuko’s pale skin. Sokka worked methodically, leaving a trail of ownership from collarbone to nipple, where he sucked hard before nipping the sensitive nub.
Zuko cried out, fingers threading into the man’s hair, tugging. "Fuck, Sokka-"
"Shh. I'm not done." Sokka released the nipple with a wet pop and moved across to the other side, repeating the pattern.
His teeth grazed, clamped, soothed. By the time he finished, Zuko’s chest was a constellation of tiny crescents.

Summary
Zuko was probably more involved in the gossip around the palace than he had any right to be.
It’s not his fault, it’s really not. It’s just that sometimes he’s sitting in the kitchens (the best place to get the gossip) drinking tea and trying to relax for once, and some of the kitchen staff will start gossiping where he can still hear them. He doesn’t really try to listen in; it’s not his place and he won’t judge the staff based on whatever rumors are running around, but Spirits is it interesting. He tries not to listen too much, or get too invested in it though. Gossip is gossip after all, and rumors hardly ever turn out to be true.
But Zuko absolutely needs to know if Maya from the laundry room broke up with her piece of shit boyfriend.
Or, 5 times Zuko got invested in/meddled in palace gossip, and 1 time he was the subject of the gossip.

Mu Qing started to speak but then stopped abruptly. The words never seemed to be able to leave his mouth.
When Mu Qing changes his cultivation path, Feng Xin approaches him to confirm if it’s true. He suggests giving the idea of ‘them’ a chance. But Feng Xin has kept him waiting for centuries, resentment having built up over time due to the rejection. Mu Qing wants to push him away and tell him he doesn’t want that—that he isn't in love with Feng Xin anymore.
But it would be a lie.
