Summary
In between the events of Joyce's "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" and the beginning of "Ulysses", Stephen and Cranly apparently went to a horse race in Leopardstown. Here's my alternate version of that, in which Stephen definitely lied about the circumstances of their encounter.

本人在文学里找代餐最成功的一次就是在看完画像和尤利西斯之后找到了这篇文,以至于每次聊到Stephen的时候都会翻出来再品一遍🙏

Sometimes it's hard to see whether Morse will provide the intellectual kinship to keep DeBryn from reaming out his brother officers, or be the one to drive him to distraction. Or, just possibly, fill a different role entirely.

Summary
There are three statements of life that Langdon knows as absolute fact:
1. Langdon is a straight man. Women are gorgeous, and he has a wife whom he loves very much.
2. The painkillers he uses from the Pitt aren’t the start of a bad habit. He’s not an addict—just a good son recovering from a back injury sustained moving some furniture.
3. His relationship with the medical field is mutualism. He saves countless lives, takes good care of people, but he benefits as well. It keeps his head too busy to think.Robby challenges all those assertions.

Summary
"I may throw up on you.
It’s a hell of a thing to have written on the skin right over his heart. A romantic spot for the least romantic words in the history of the universe. Jim thinks he’s grateful for it though. His words help him manage his expectations for his life from an early age."--
This is the story of two men who don't believe in soulmates but meet them anyway, and all of the crap that follows.
