Summary
What does it mean to be happy? That was a question that would forever lay restless in hearts of all cookies.
In an alternate universe, Eternal Sugar Cookie is the first beast to fall to her ancient counterpart. Having learned from her mistakes, Shadow Milk planned to create a "harmless" facade of peace for Pure Vanilla Cookie’s arrival by tweaking Eternal Sugar's plan to suit himself. If it all works out, not only will Pure Vanilla be willing to give back his souljam himself, but he'll be willing to accompany Shadow Milk. And perhaps, even if it's just for a bit, the two can finally be happy.
And just for that fleeting moment, Shadow Milk was willing to sacrifice a part of himself for the other's sake. That is, until the other Ancients entered the scene and ruined his play.
Despite knowing it was going to happen one day, Shadow Milk refuses to go down so easily—refuses to let go of the now sinking memories that had made him all-so happy.
And yet, as he escapes that dying dance, the two interlocked cookies will come to realize what it truly means to be loved—what it truly means to be happy.
