This was your umpteenth time working with the Drake brothers. Unrelenting danger, near-death experiences, and yes, sharing a sleeping bag on a rocky cave floor, were all things you could reasonably handle.
Nate was next to you, fast asleep, dreaming of the time you kissed his cheek after a particularly narrow escape-- and he tried not to curse himself for dreaming about what your lips might have felt like if he had actually kissed you back.
Sam, curled up at your back, was dreaming of when he accidentally caught you bathing in the nearby river a few minutes from camp. How quickly he turned and ran before you could see him… and how different things might have turned out if he had been just a little bit braver.
And you were wide awake, wondering how the fuck you were going to be able to fall asleep with the both of them grinding against you, whimpering your name in their sleep.
Danger was something you could handle. Sharing a bed with two of the most dangerous men on the planet, both of whom wanted you, was also something you could handle. But maybe, just maybe, realizing you wanted both of them back, was the one and only thing you couldn’t.
