Summary
Maybe they shouldn’t have gone on a palace raid on a pollen warning day. It would certainly explain why the guard dogs shadows were behaving so differently.
Pollen usually made the affected shadows in Mementos weaker, yet this time it was completely different. From the moment they entered the palace Kaneshiro’s guard dogs were on them like glue, chasing them around until they had no choice but to separate to shake them off their tail.
Which led him to his current situation, alone and stuck hiding behind a crate in a storage room somewhere down in the first Vault.
