A new Journey:
“Look, I understand I messed up and was a prick, but you can just randomly go on a journey with no plan.” Magnus’ tone grew sour as she heard him walking closer.
Why not?” She asked.
She heard an agitated huff from behind her before his voice. “You almost died like three times, probably more, on your last journey.” Magnus was only a few feet away from her now, and the sounds of rocks shifting with every step made her stomach ache.
Rosaline turned, giving him her best glare. “I think you almost died more than I did.”
“Eh, I think I’ll have to side with Magnus on this one,” Axel chimed in, “Between the burn on your leg and getting stomped on by Evelyn. I’d say you’d almost died more.” Rosaline flared her nose, glaring at Axel.
“Plus, you almost got stabbed by a centaur and the ogre that almost ate you when you tripped,” Magnus crossed his arms as he was almost by her side by now.
“Whatever, I get your point, but I’m still pissed at you. I don’t want to see you.” Rosaline finalized, giving the wizard another emotionless glare.
“Then I’ll stay behind you,” Magnus huffed before walking past her and hopping on the boat.

“Though, I'll be pretty occupied with a journey for a while, so I won’t be fighting in the war till I come back,” Rosaline stared at him for a bit, trying to figure out why he was holding back a smirk. Was he teasing her? Was there a joke she missed? What was going on in his mind…
“Journey?” She echoed as her face scrunched with confusion. The only sound in the basement was the boiling cauldron, which was seamlessly forgotten about. A small chuckle escaped Magnus as Rosaline’s face heated with embarrassment. Was there something she was missing?
“Yes, Journey,” Magnus repeated as he wore a smile. “We need to stop this war, remember?” He looked at her as his eyebrows raised slightly.
Her mind went blank as Rosaline was trying to put all the puzzle pieces of his last few sentences in place. Magnus grabbed the last piece as he spoke, placing it in the empty spot.
“Though I can’t do this alone. I have a map in my town, so we’ll have to make a quick stop at Vicsham,” Magnus smirked as Rosaline felt like this was finally what she needed to do. Rosaline wanted peace between every creature and to bring this war to an end.

Summary
"GREAT! Just great! As if this could GET any better!" Zanka bites out, seething. Of course he's stuck here, injured, in a damp, dirty cell, and of course he's stuck here with fucking Jabber of all people.
Jabber whistles appreciatively, "Man, you're in a mood today. Wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" and cackles at his own joke. Zanka's gonna strangle him. He's gonna rip out those bars with his bare hands and use them to beat Jabber to death.

Summary
Zanka knew that carrying out a relationship with a Raider as a Cleaner would be complicated. He knew he'd have to be careful. More than careful. He'd have to be perfect- no matter what, no one could find out about the truth. Not when he knew what the consequences would be.
Naturally, he slips up anyways, accidentally mentioning Jabber's name at HQ, and it’s all over.
Except its not. Because there's good news and bad news.
The good news was that Zanka hadn't actually said Jabber's name. Instead, he'd said a nickname. A nickname that nobody knew referred to Jabber.
The bad news was that now all the Cleaners thought that Zanka had a girlfriend named Abby, and if he wanted to keep his job, his family, and his relationship with Jabber, he was going to have to keep up the charade.
What could go wrong?
