Summary
A Hank McCoy/OC romance
From the outside looking in, Wendy Collins had led a pretty normal life: She taught beauty school, had her own apartment, & she was looking forward to her upcoming wedding... But that's because her & her parents had done a pretty good job at hiding the fact that she was a mutant since she was 12. After a strange accident in which her powers were publicly exposed, however, her life becomes anything but normal. Luckily Xavier's Institute was happy to recruit her, but life at the institute presents its own challenges.
Hank McCoy, for all his genius, walked a path of poorly-fated good intentions. He had a tendency to wreck even the best of his plans: From lab experiments, to time travel to relationships, maybe it was just time to give it a rest. Being large, monstrous & covered in blue fur certainly didn't help things. Society tells us that being "normal" is the height of propriety, but what one does one do when being normal is no longer an option? And what if someone else is falling in love with the things that make us different?
(Based primarily on the animated series with some of the comic lore thrown in. Set in sort of an AU, so I could work with all the characters.) -

Summary
Naomi is a character in a visual novel/dating sim called "Idol Song" that was just added to Litwak's arcade, along with a number of other games and current gen consoles. Idol Song allows gamers to pursue romantic storylines with its characters.
Unfortunately, Naomi isn't one of them.
Overlooked, and unpopular, she's a secondary, non-romanceable character in a dating sim. But she doesn't let that (or her unfortunately programmed clumsiness) stop her from exploring all that the arcade has to offer after hours. She plays DDR (badly) and even takes culinary classes with Cooking Mama. One night she decides to put herself out there at a speed dating event at Burger Time, but before she manages to get there she stumbles in her never-failing grace. Luckily she is caught mid-fall by a friendly, but very large character by the name of Wreck-It Ralph.
Ralph, infamous wrecking villain of retro game Fix-It Felix Jr., never expected the cute girl he just caught from falling on the floor to strike up a conversation, let alone have drinks, with him. But they seemed to have a lot in common -including mutual attraction. He's just hoping he doesn't wreck it like everything else.
(Includes concept art of Ralph and Naomi.)
