Victoria felt her jaw drop as heat rushed to her face.
“Oh my god! I am so sorry. I didn’t ask them to, like - it didn’t even occur to me that —”
“Easy, Javadi. You have nothing to be sorry for.”
Dr. McKay seemed to scan the pitt before walking them over to the closest workstation and nudging two swivel chairs together. The resident waited a beat before leaning in, hoodie-clad elbows resting on flannel-covered knees.
