Cas dies. The world comes back. Jack leaves. Dean stops eating.
Cas dies, and Dean stops eating, and he keeps on dreaming.

(“You’ll be gone by the time I come back,” Cas says sadly.
Dean smiled at him, content and serene, and slowly signed, rusty from lack of use, “I can’t stop.”)

Summary
According to her, one of these should appeal to him above all others. It should call to him so clearly that its owner was sure to be compatible with him on a biological level — compatible enough that simply existing near them could begin to purge the rot still pulsing into his body from the wellspring in his carotid artery. Passive recovery, they called it.
Astarion has been mated to a monster for 20 years, a nightmare with no way out. When he finds himself faced with the prospect of freedom, the possibility is overwhelming. How could he get by on his own when just getting through the day is a battle? Fortunately, there's a lifeline, a voluntary program that matches people who have suffered a great trauma with a volunteer whom they are scent-compatible with. By simply sharing a home with this person, healing comes faster than it ever could alone. Astarion is paired with Wyll Ravengard, a young man who has done more for the program than almost anyone else.
It's a simple arrangement - move in, get better, and move on without giving a new alpha any chance to harm him. After all they've suffered, who would expect feelings to complicate matters?

Summary
“Wyll let it slide. Because he’s seen a patient’s face crumple after being unnecessarily snapped at. They forget all about it within an hour.
On the other hand, he’s seen bed sores: tunnels into the black void of body ringed by brackish pus, and bright red inflammation…He’s not going to rat on Astarion just for a bubbly, golden-hearted 22 year old to come choke his patient on applesauce instead.
But that doesn’t mean he has to like him.”
(Passionate nursing assistant Wyll Ravengard goes from resenting his competent but cantankerous coworker to having the strangest fantasies about him. Meanwhile, Ulder asks Wyll to take care of his stepmother Mizora following her elective hip replacement, unaware
that she sexually abused Wyll in the past.)(read the tags! dd:dne )

Summary
As their options dwindle in Baldur's Gate, Cazador sends Astarion to Waterdeep. It comes with a lot of perks. Most notably, he's far from Cazador, sending victims by boat instead of personal delivery.
Astarion has a simple plan in Waterdeep. He will seduce the wizard, learn what magic keeps Cazador at bay, then flee. Free at last.
The wizard in question, though? Absolutely sexless. Impossible to seduce.

Summary
Gale Dekarios, a seasoned, respected rockstar losing steam with the younger audience. Astarion Ancunin, a popstar on the rise who can’t seem to keep his reputation (or his nose) clean. What better way to boost both of their careers than to sell a fake relationship to the press? That’s what their managers seem to think, anyway.

Summary
Cazador/Astarion origin story into Gale/Astarion romance novel. Each book can stand on its own.
“Hello there, little one.” It was said as sweet as spider’s venom. It sickened me.
I cried out, terror gripping me as he started to stroke the dirt from my curls.
He seemed almost serene. “This time you’re coming home with me and staying forever.” He gripped my chin and forced me to look at him. Tears streaming down my face made muddy tracks down my chest and the knees I found I was clutching. He smirked, a real sweetness sneaking through. He whispered, “You’re so beautiful when you’re frightened.” He traced my shaking lips with his thumb. I sobbed as his final whisper resonated somewhere within me: “You’re mine.”

Summary
He’s seen Gale polymorph enemies before, but never one of them, an ally. He’s not interested in being a sheep for an hour or however long the spell runs for, but—“I could be a cat?” he finds himself asking. He doesn’t quite recognize the tone to his own voice.
Gale smiles. “You could be a lot of things,” he says.

Summary
Gale was certainly different from Astarion’s usual clientele. Astarion had a reputation for dressing and tailoring only the most regarded people of Baldur’s Gate, and this stuffy professor was quite the change of pace. There was something else about Gale, just under the surface. A hint of a nervous air about him as he eyed the measuring tape Astarion currently held in his hands.

Summary
“Don't you fucking dare,” Astarion hissed, knowing all too well what was going through Gale's mind. “You are not going to eat my wedding ring, you silly man. I don't care how desperate you think you are.”
Gale swallowed heavily as he forced himself to meet Astarion's gaze. “Please. I…I can't explain, but it is imperative that I consume the Weave from your ring. I'm afraid the item—”
“Will be destroyed,” Astarion cut in. “Yes, yes. I've been through this already, darling. But you can't absorb the Weave from an item that you yourself enchanted. So you can put the idea of eating my ring out of your pretty little head.”
--
Astarion meddles with a magical item and finds himself sent back to the year of Gale's self-imposed isolation, where he makes an impression on the miserable wizard.

Summary
Astarion read people the way Gale read books: cover to cover– leaving no page unturned. He prided himself on the ability to figure someone out at a glance, a skill honed to mastery under 200 years of tutelage and torture. He knew how people ticked– how they moved, how they spoke –and what made a mark ripe for the taking. Yet for whatever reason, the wizard eluded him.
Gale had been a series of puzzles he couldn’t seem to solve from the start and he hated him for it.
The first was a blight hidden behind a mouthwatering scent.
The second, a hunger that sought to rival even his own.
But it was the last one that most intrigued him. The perplexing choice of ornamentation on an otherwise clean slate.
