Sukuna’s thumb lingered on Megumi’s lip, the claw pressing just hard enough to threaten without breaking skin. Then, with a slow, deliberate exhale, he pulled back slightly, his grin shifting into something softer—something infinitely more dangerous. "You fought well," he murmured, his voice dropping into a purr. "But war is over, little sorcerer. No more scars, no more suffering." One hand slid down to trace the curve of Megumi’s hipbone through his torn uniform. "I’ll pamper you now. Spoil you." His teeth flashed in the dim light. "Keep you."
Megumi stiffened, his breath hitching. "Keep me?" The words tasted like ash.
Sukuna chuckled, low and indulgent, as if Megumi had missed a joke. "As my bride." The declaration rolled off his tongue like a vow, thick with possession. One of his lower arms slid up Megumi’s back, claws retracting as he palmed the nape of his neck with grotesque tenderness. "You’ll want for nothing. No more battles, no more losses." His thumb brushed the hollow of Megumi’s throat. "Just my attention. My... devotion."

"You're hopeless," Yuji said, plopping onto the bench and kicking his feet up. "Just talk to him already."
“Talk to him?” Megumi repeated, voice low and sharp as he finally turned toward Yuji. His fingers flexed at his sides, nails biting into his palms. “He’s twenty-six, Itadori.” The number hung between them, heavy and undeniable. Yuji blinked, his grin faltering for just a second before he shrugged.
“So?” he said, rolling his shoulders back. “You’re gonna be eighteen in, what, three months? Big deal.” He flicked a crumpled paper football at Megumi’s chest, but it bounced off harmlessly, landing on the gym floor between them. “Age is just a number.”
Megumi’s jaw tightened. “It’s not just a number when he’s my teacher.” The word came out strained, like he’d been chewing on it. He kicked the paper football aside with more force than necessary, watching it skid across the polished wood. “And your brother.”

His knees buckled instantly, his hands scrambling for purchase on the couch as the plug throbbed inside him, its rhythm slow and teasing. Sukuna’s grin was a blade in the dim light. He flicked the remote again, cranking the intensity up just enough to make Megumi’s thighs quake. “Look at you,” he murmured, rolling the device between his fingers like he was contemplating something far more dangerous. “Already falling apart from a little toy.” His free hand reached out, catching one of the clamp chains between his thumb and forefinger. A sharp tug sent pain lancing through Megumi’s chest, the bells jingling obscenely as his back arched in protest.

The car smelled like leather and the faintest hint of spilled coffee from three road trips ago. Sukuna drummed his fingers against the steering wheel, the tattoos along his knuckles flexing as he muttered something under his breath about YET ANOTHER minivan cutting him off. His dark pink hair was tied back in a messy knot, strands escaping like they too wanted out of this traffic.
In the passenger seat, Megumi stared straight ahead, gripping the oh-shit handle every time Sukuna accelerated just a little too aggressively. "You don’t have to take it personally every time someone merges," he said, voice dry.
"It’s the principle," Sukuna replied, flipping off the offending driver with a smooth, practiced motion.
Behind them, Itadori laughed, leaning forward between the seats. "Uncle Sukuna, you’re gonna give Megumi gray hair before we even get there."
