Summary
Eight year Lee Taeyong was an orphan, conscripted into servitude for the royal household. He spent his days darting around the massive estate, running errands on behalf of the older palace staff. He had no memory of any family or any hope for a life that included anything resembling happiness.
Neocity’s Crown Prince, Kim Doyoung, was lonely, precocious child, in desperate need of a friend. As soon as the two boys met, they were instantly inseparable, with Taeyong being granted the “official” position of “Companion to the Prince”.
Over the years, the boys’ friendship turned into something more, a precious, adolescent puppy love developing between them. Prince Doyoung had zero intention of eventually marrying anyone else, any naysayers be damned.
