Looking at this poor cat I couldn’t help but compare myself to it. I’d been born with a useless quirk and no matter how hard I tried, I’ve never been able to stand out. And once my 18th passed, my parents had told me to find a living for myself. They also told me how I could always ask them for help whenever I needed it.
They never replied to my pleas.
I look around and see no signs of a person or dog that could’ve hurt the poor thing. I stagger a bit, debating on what to do. It’s hurt, and if I take it to a vet I’d have to pay for its bills. But I don’t have the money to take care of a cat, let alone save one! I’m barely hanging onto life myself.
I release a sigh, my breath becoming a white fog as it rises up into the air. I take a step back. Maybe, maybe someone else will find the poor cat. It’ll be fine! I turn my body in the direction of the other street, forcing myself to move away from the poor kitty. Walking out of the alley I stand still underneath the glow of a street light.
What am I doing..?

Summary
Kirishima Eijirou knew he wanted to be a hero by the young age of five. Like most children, he spent hours playing outside with friends, acting out fake scenarios, and taking turns on who got to ‘save the day’. He looked up to many pro heroes, but there was no one he idolized more than the chivalrous Crimson Riot.
The alpha pro hero was manly, strong, and everything else Kirishima so desperately wanted to be. He obsessively watched every interview and consumed as much Crimson Riot content as he could, carefully studying the man he looked up to. Years went by, and Kirishima stayed the same; chasing after his dream of being the manliest pro hero in Japan.
Until he turned 14 and presented as an omega.
