Everyone’s got her pinned for some “girl-next-door” type of persona, the ideal woman, when she’s far from it. A certain someone would be more than happy to expose her for it, let Ninjago know that the “people’s princess” is nothing like what they’re given. One wrong move and all her dark secrets will be spilled and exposed. No matter what she does, there’s always that threat. She can barely live with herself as it is, and him being her undoing would be catastrophic.

After the disaster that was the Tournament of Sources, Nya chased after her lost fiance, Jay, in the hope that she could find him and convince him they belonged together.
Betrayed by anyone who ever said they knew him, Rogue built himself an identity away from the Administration, away from the Wolf Clan, and away from the ninja. Or at least that was his plan until he stumbled upon the beautiful blue ninja and couldn't help himself...

“Excuse me?” she snorted “Are we doing playground insults now?”
“If I bully you enough will you change the shade of blue.”
“You are ridiculous…and have no taste.”
--Jay gets a rare opportunity for leisure, choosing to visit an old piece of Ninjago history that the merge is yet to break apart. Unfortunately, the Ninja have the same idea. Jay's encounter with them, and most importantly Nya, leaves him feeling further lost in his identity. Acronix and Beatrix do not help in the slightest. Acronix is extreme and Beatrix can't help but tighten her suffocating grip on him, leaving Jay with little support as he tries to understand his world and himself.
Nya just wants a good day, but when Acronix reappears seemingly in cahoots with Beatrix, she has no choice but to disturb the peace of the lovely marketplace. She feels as if she's getting closer to a truth, no matter how much the mysterious man she's fighting tries to deflect.
