Summary
“Langdon.” She said, as he drove. It’d be easier if he couldn’t look at her.
“Mel.” He replied, shooting her a quick sideways glance.
“Earlier today,” She began, “in the break room,” her hands fidgeted nervously in her lap, “you said something about, uh, well-“
“Needing to get laid ?” He finished for her,
“Yes. I was thinking about it,” Her stomach was quickly filling up with rocks and her throat burned just slightly,
“About me getting laid ?” He joked, smirking at her, eyes still on the road. The beat of silence that followed made him look at her fully, for just a moment, before turning his eyes back to the car in front of him. “What were you thinking about ?” He asked, tone more serious.
“I’m… going to tell you something you can’t tell anyone else, okay ?” Her eyes were burning a hole into her shoes, and she noticed the small speck of red that adorned the right one’s toe. The smallest drop of blood staining their surface.

Mels a virgin, and Langdon wants to get back into the game after his divorce. Why not kill two birds with one stone. Then they keep killing the birds. -
