    Sir John "Soap" MacTavish is part of the British Order of Cyberknights, built to keep the Aether and its zombie soldiers at bay. His squad receives a robot fighter called G.H.O.S.T. to aid them in their quests, and Soap becomes close "friends" with the machine over the course of 2 months. He knows Ghost can't really feel the same, or anything at all, but it's the closest thing to friendship he has.
    It all changes on a perilous quest, where Soap discovers there is more to Ghost than they had been told...
