It starts with chest pain. Not overly concerning when Ghost has been shot and stabbed in his line of work.
So he ignores it.
Later, he wakes up coughing. Again, nothing compared to a broken rib or shrapnel dug out of his skin while in the middle of a war zone.
So once again, he ignores it.
It's not until he coughs up blood mixed with small pink petals does Ghost finally understand what's wrong.
Hanahaki Disease. A rare but fatal disease in which the victim coughs up flowers from unrequited love.
It doesn't take long to figure out who the unrequited love is.
Who else, if not the charming Scotsman with a quick wit and awful jokes to match his own?
It seems nothing is simple for Ghost, not even love.
