Un seul évènement change le cours de la vie de Yuuri, le lançant dans une amère rivalité avec Viktor Nikiforov, s’étendant tout au long de sa carrière de patineur. Mais alors que les années passent, rivalité et haine commencent à devenir quelque chose de très différent, et Yuuri ne semble pas parvenir à s'en détacher, malgré tous ses efforts.
