Geralt spotted movement from the direction of Jaskier's mound of blankets. Only there was something... wrong with it. He jumped to his feet, covering the distance in two quick strides and yanking the blankets off. What he saw there made him freeze.
Instead of slim, but not inconsiderable bulk of his bard, there, tangled in the colourful, very recognizable set of clothing, was a child.
The boy, for it seemed to be a boy, blinked up at Geralt from under a mop of soft chestnut hair. He was squinting slightly in the sunlight, tiny hand rubbing sleep from his eyes. From his very blue, very familiar-looking eyes, with the specific, cornflower hue that he's only ever seen in one person on the entire Continent.
Geralt felt all the air leave his lungs in a single, punched-out exhale.
Fuck.
What is a witcher to do when he finds himself with a baby bard on his hands?
Take him to Kaer Morhen, of course.

Summary
Jaskier thought the tiny line of bluebells that graced the skin of Geralt’s throat just over three days later was rather adorable. The Witcher thought so too, though he wouldn’t admit it. That particular mark reminded him how close of an eye he needed to keep on his Beloved. The hyperactive bard tended to get roped into dangerous situations no matter how hard he tried to avoid them.
And Jaskier tried to avoid them. He really did.
The problem, Jaskier discovered, was that people found him an oddly easy mark for their mischievous deeds.

It's not that Cas wasn’t offering Dean enjoyment, but it’s just so much better when there are two at play. He needed to try something, anything to get Cas out of that damn trench coat and into his bed again, and hopefully, the Enochian handcuffs that sat heavily in his back pocket might be the solution to all their problems. (That's if Cas would be on board with the idea.)

The captain pats his knee and Jaskier has no idea why, but he complies and follows Geralt. He stands next to the desk hesitantly, his hands clasped behind his back. There’s no way he’s going to nuzzle up to the man who just bardnapped him.
“Oh c’mon, you can come closer than that. I won’t bite… unless you want me to.” Geralt says, winking at Jaskier before grabbing his slim bicep and pulling him closer. He sits the smaller man down on his lap and studies his face now that the gap between them is closed.
