When she's attacked by a vampire one night, and accidentally turned into a vampire siphoner hybrid she flees, knowing this will be the last straw that finally drives her coven to kill her. After a few centuries alone, never daring to get close to anyone, she breaks. She creates a ritual to find someone who she can be useful enough to that they won't care what a freak she is, someone who will never leave her, and be kind, or at least not cruel to her.
