While the rest of the party are making merry and enjoying the town, quasar and rune are studying scrolls and spells, spending so much alone time together tension run a little high.

Notice!
There is evidently spoilers for both Tavern talk and the Dreamwalker demo. It quotes quite a bit of the conversation with Quasar in act 4 but puts a different spin on it.
What if the Innkeeper didn't wait until after the end of the world was guaranteed before telling him the truth?
This fic explores that as well as takes creative liberties about the innkeeper/rune and so head-canons infiltrate this fic at later points though I tried to keep the characters as canon as possible.
Aka I'm going feral waiting for Dreamwalker to come out and needed an outlet.

"And then their party decided to go on another adventure, though not a dangerous one but rather a calm one, opening a small tavern on the mountainside in Zenyth. Promising to send postcards and to visit Cosmo in Borkam, of course. They called their tavern the Wayfarers Inn. Innkeep, and Aegeus, took the main handle on running the tavern, while the rest of the party helped out. It also allowed them all to have a routine, and the ability to go on breaks."

Tavern Talk but Party Lives au, kinda going off of the alt ending in dreamwalker. So a form of spoilers for the end of the prequel. I love this game so much and need to write about it.
