Tim had given up trying to lie to himself about how he felt about Jason, hating himself for his childhood hero-worship/crush on the second Robin for coming back. He knew the whole thing was pointless – Jason barely tolerated him, he knew that – so it was better to just acknowledge the feelings, process them, and get rid of them. The last time he’d had feelings for Jason, suppressing them hadn’t worked despite years of trying.
So here he was, asking Jason about what consoles he had because unfortunately this was as close as Jason was going to come to asking him on a date (oh my god, a Bat Kids hangout was the closest he was getting to a date – Damian was right, Tim was pathetic), and there was no way in hell Tim was going to say no, even if he hadn’t slept in over 24 hours. Summary
Plain and simple. Stupid saying really.
There was nothing plain nor simple about the way his bones creaked with every movement, the way his eyes dragged across every space like the shadows planned to leap up and take him in. There was nothing plain about the house which keys sat heavy in his pocket, nothing simple about the woman sitting across from him appraising Jason with a look that spoke of what she thought of his appearance.
“If something could be alive after being ran over it would be you,” she said and he would have glared if he still felt it in him to do so.
She says the house is haunted. Jason says he’s going insane. There is no such things as ghosts.

Summary
Jason closes his eyes. He takes a deep, steadying breath, but it doesn’t help with calming his nerves. There’s a confession stuck in his throat, terrifying and ugly, and he’s not sure how to swallow it down.
Silence on the other end of the line eventually forces him to speak. He glances straight at the screen, four Bats staring at him with a certain kind of urgency now – and he doesn’t know what to say. There aren’t any good reasons, nor a solid case, that would grant him access to all the information he needs.
He’s not happy he’s got to spill his guts in exchange for intel, but it’s better to rip off the band-aid, he decides. Besides, it’s hard to keep any long-term secrets in this damn family – and he’d rather say it himself, now, still as somewhat his own choice.“I’m in love with Tim.”
“Oh.”
Bruce kicks him out of the Zoom meeting.
Fuck.
Ten minutes later, a Bat crawls through his kitchen window.
“What the fuck, Jason?”
or: Jason has feelings. He doesn’t know where to put them away.

Summary
Tim is on the run after being tortured by the joker and convincing himself he’s a danger to everyone he loves he washes up on the outlaws door steps to beg Jason Todd to end his life and save his loved ones. Jason however thinks this is insane so Jason, Roy and Kori decide they're going to help Tim accept his new reality and learn about coping with trauma.
This fic is very personal and about learning to live with mental illness and physical disability. It's also the first thing I've written since I became disabled a few years ago. It does get heavy in places, please read the trigger warnings.Bookmarked by Qtea99
