Lotus Pier was no more.

You know the merchants who lived there by name and face for you were one of them, selling your wares to the people of Yunmeng. Gentle waters lapping on boats and wooded docks, children running by the stalls chasing after beautiful kites. There was no peace in it, but there was life.
It was gone.
You want to correct this—change the rubble that was once your home and ease the pain of everyone around you. Everyone was hurt by this war, and everyone came out wounded.
War is painful for everyone, but rebuilding is much worse. The only thing you can do left is soothe the scars left by the war, and poison anyone who dares give you another.
I've tagged Kusuriya no Hitorigoto as a fandom since it provided the additional information needed for building some characters' backgrounds and providing inspiration for some plot points. However, I didn't base everything around it, and the story revolves around MDZS. Knowledge about Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is not needed to read this.
